It’s time for this month’s roundup of the best and most innovative apps for android. Here is a collection of must have apps for daily use in different areas. These are beautifully designed apps to give your “smartphone” more power.

5. Wakie

Wakie is the social alarm clock app that lets you wake up strangers.
“Hi, I’m just calling to wake you up,” I said a little awkwardly.
“Thanks. Where are you from?” replied a female voice with a English accent.
“India. You’re from UK, right?”
“How could you tell?” she said surprisingly.
“The flag at the top of the screen.”
For those who want to be woken up Wakie works in a similar way to any other alarm clock. Just simply set the time and day you want the alarm to go off. When it’s time to be woken up, the app anonymously connects you to a call from another user. You then get around a minute to talk and be woken up. If no ‘Wakie’ is available, the app will play an automated message instead.

4. Smart Phone Lock

It changes the lock-screen PIN automatically every minute/day based on your setting, so that you can easily get away from pranksters, kids, nosy friends and there goes the endless list.
How it works
Let’s say you’ve set Time PIN.
If current time is 3:40, then your lock screen’s pincode will be 0340.
If current time is 3:40, offset is +5 minutes, then your lock screen’s pincode will be 0345.
If current time is 3:40 and reverse pin is ON, then your lock screen’s pincode will be 0430.
If current time is 3:40, offset is +5 minutes and reverse pin is ON, then your lock screen’s pincode will be 5430.
And, it will be updated every minute.

3. Google Sky Map

Google Sky Map Android App offers a real-time clear view of constellations for Android phones. The app uses your phone’s GPS, compass and accelerometer to get accurate stellar information so you can turn the device in any direction or lock in a position and scroll through. Google Sky Map features layers: Stars, Constellations, Messier Objects, Planets, Grid Lines and Horizon; which can be toggled on/off. You can toggle viewing modes for day/night as well. The really cool feature is the Search functionality; the results’ finder leads you to the object you were looking for. It is helpful for finding constellations first then probing the sky. Of course those interested in astrology would dig the app.

2. Photo Math

PhotoMath allows you to help solve simple linear equations and other math problems by “reading” questions with the help of your smartphone camera. All you need to do is point your phone’s camera at the problem, the app will scan it and try to solve it. I have tried it a few times and it works good for high school maths. (Oh! I wish I had got it earlier)
Although this app is still at development stage.

1. Tasker (Paid)

It is an automation app. You can automate almost everything on your phone.
Want to turn off internet on your phone during night ?
Want to send SMS automatically to someone who called you during a meeting saying that you are busy ?
Want to start music whenever any headset is plugged in  ?
